APT worked with Boeing, Canoga Park, California to install a 320KVA redundant Silcon UPS system from American Power Conversion. This Boeing facility monitors the rocket propulsion systems on the Space Shuttle and has go/no-go responsibility for flights. It is absolutely critical that their data is safe at all times; especially since human lives are at stake.

Autographics in Pomona uses a 60KVA Silcon with an extended battery cabinet to safeguard their computer systems for up 2 hours during a power outage. Autographics provides library research services to colleges and Universities around the country. Downtime can cost them many thousands of dollars when their customers cannot access their sites.

Oakley Sunglasses Inc. in Foothill Ranch, has two APC Silcon UPS systems to power both sides of their data center. One area uses a 40KVA and the other has a larger 80KVA. Both UPS systems are backed up by a diesel generator. This system ensures that Oakley will be able to continue to sell and service their products 7x24 throughout the world.

APT sold and installed a NEW APC PowerStruxure 40KVA redundant, modular UPS to Boeing, Huntington Beach. This system included a 40KW PDU/Service Bypass Panel which feeds the various outlets and racks throughout their data center. They liked the fact that they can service the product themselves and do not need expensive service contracts.
